Stonor Park

A fun-filled day spent exploring the adventure playground, spotting deer, getting up close with birds of prey and strolling round the gardens and arboretum.

Cothill Fen

A long walk with a distinctly Jurrasic vibe through the most diverse area in Oxfordshire, taking in FIVE nature reserves. We saw solitary bees, deer, orchids, fossils, tadpoles, a woodpecker and some impressive geology.

Oxford Botanic Garden

A place we pop into regularly to see how the plants change over the seasons, this visit was made even more special with the jade vine blooming.

Exploring the hidden world beneath the water’s surface — a pond dipping session full of tiny, wriggling discoveries at this BBOWT site.

Thrupp Lake

A beautiful walk from Radley Station to Abingdon, passing under the bridge, around the lake and through Barton Fields, hearing an astonishing number of birds along the way.

A lovely hour spent saying hi to the chickens, pigs, goats and sheep, and taking inspiration from their rhythms of growing.

Watching the wonderful bird displays, and seeing the other animals on display including meerkats, capybaras, otters, wallabies and this cheeky looking marmoset.

A guided walk around the nature reserve, bird watching, learning how to spot signs of animals and handling newts and slow worms

Bishop's Court Farm

We love visiting this Dorchester farm, and feeding the animals. In March we went for mothers day and had a great time walking the alpacas.
